Anika Patterson, a Mount Holyoke alum, works in Oxfam America and has extensive experience in Public Policy Analysis, Government Relations, Public administration and information technology. She has also served in various organizations such as the Gateway-Longview, Inc and Community Action Organization in New York.

In 2002-2003, she partnered with then New York State (NYS) Senator and current Mayor of the City of Buffalo, New York, Byron Brown to rebuild the infrastructure of Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY, further develop the economy and lead public & private sector partnerships. She has also worked in Ghana, West Africa, where led workshops on leadership and empowerment, and completed an extensive HIV/AIDS Public Awareness Program through Ghana’s Volta Region with the U.S. Peace Corps
